چکیده

As the premier material in construction industry across the world, concrete has major role in the effects of construction to our environment. Consumption of concrete is very high due to extensive use of concrete in many structural applications. The rapid infrastructural growth in developing countries and production of many by-product as waste material making high role to concrete producers in inventing sustainable product. Recently, the development of high performance concrete supports the sustainable construction by using waste materials in concrete that will provide an efficient solution to disposal problem, sustainable development and concrete production cost. This paper present an expert system that was developed to efficiently disseminate innovation and simplicity in designing high performance concrete incorporating supplementary cementitious material from industrial waste in order to support global sustainable construction.

Mix proportioning of high-performance concrete by applying the GA and PSO

High performance concrete is designed to meets special requirements such as high strength, high flowability, and high durability in large scale concrete construction. To obtain such performance many trial mixes are required to find desired combination of materials and there is no conventional way to achieve proper mix proportioning. Genetic algorithm is a global optimization technique based ...

Investigating properties of fresh and hardened self-compacting concrete made of recycled aggregates

Self-compacting concrete is a new high performance concrete with high ductility and segregation resistance. In recent years, construction material manufacturers have focused their attention on lightweight concrete and have strived to use lightweight concrete, if possible, in load-bearing parts of buildings. Concrete with both self-compacting and lightweight properties is favourable in this cont...

EVELOPMENT OF ANFIS-PSO, SVR-PSO, AND ANN-PSO HYBRID INTELLIGENT MODELS FOR PREDICTING THE COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH OF CONCRETE

Concrete is the second most consumed material after water and the most widely used construction material in the world. The compressive strength of concrete is one of its most important mechanical properties, which highly depends on its mix design. The present study uses the intelligent methods with instance-based learning ability to predict the compressive strength of concrete. To achieve this ...
